Morad is a certified Moroccan tour guide with many years of experience and a dedicated following. His relaxed manner and personal approach help guests feel welcome from the start.
He is also a gifted linguist. Morad apologises for his near-perfect English before offering to switch to French, Italian, Spanish, Moroccan Arabic or Berber. He can also converse in several other languages, including Portuguese and German. Disappointingly, he knows no Icelandic.
Morad is part of Bill’s family too: he is married to Bill’s sister and is the father of Bill’s nieces. That family connection carries through to his guiding. He looks after the whole group with the same warmth and care.
With Morad, a food tour becomes a personal introduction to Morocco. His local knowledge and connections open doors to places and experiences that can be harder to discover on a larger group tour.
